Art Institute of Atlanta
The Exception Campaign.

changing perceptions, one community at a time.

The Art Institute of Atlanta is writing a new book. It begins with a new chapter that allows the school to give people a vision of education that is more than profits or outcomes. This new philosophy inspires everyone – students, teachers, staff, and surrounding communities – to aspire to be great.

Because it is time to be the exception.

Because it’s time for The Art Institute of Atlanta to be exceptional.

The idea of being the exception is the student who against all odds, possesses an incredible yearning to surpass expectations, to not become yet another graduate statistic. It is also the school that defines itself as more than business as usual, one that goes beyond the disclaimers, and the proverbial asterisk.

The Art Institute of Atlanta is an incubator of talent and perseverance, where one must go and combine it with a plan and structure to assure future success.

Mediocrity is not our benchmark. The school gives shape to the boldest dreams and noblest causes. By believing in the power of giving back, The Art Institute of Atlanta is committed to putting the students' dreams first, to creating profound change throughout the city of Atlanta— and the world, one person at a time. It is reimagining what it means to make a difference. Because you can’t make a difference until you dare to be different.

This remodeled Tudor cottage has maintained so much of its old-world charm, like the original wood-burning fireplaces, exposed ceiling beams, and antique wood framed windows with iron latches. Located in the coveted neighborhood of Briarwood Downs, the front yard is filled with natural beauty, such as birch trees and flowering shrubs. The backyard is perfect for grilling and gardening, and is big enough for an above-ground pool. The kitchen features stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and vintage enamel coated cabinets. It leads into a formal dining room with a built-in buffet and china cabinet. The master bedroom’s ceiling is lined with restored crown molding and the master bath features a lovely clawfoot tub. Throughout the house, the original walnut flooring has been preserved—a look that takes you back in time.
